Senior Vice President of Defense & Intelligence Programs, ASRC Federal
Dave Ziegler has over 37 years’ experience in space systems development and operations. He is currently senior vice president of Defense and Intelligence Programs for ASRC Federal’s Engineering, Aerospace and Mission Systems operating group, where he shares the company’s commitment to integrate, launch, operate and sustain leading-edge space systems for U.S. Space Force, NRO, NASA, NOAA and other Department of Defense customers.
Prior to joining ASRC Federal, Ziegler held several leadership roles with industry, where he managed acquisition, development and fielding of U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network and GPS technology modernization efforts. As a 25 year active duty veteran with the U.S. Air Force, Ziegler’s assignments included commander of the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base; director of Air Force Space, Intelligence and Networks at the Pentagon; space operations group commander of the 50th Operations Group at Schriever Air Force Base, and director of advanced spacecraft acquisition with the National Reconnaissance Office.
Ziegler holds a B.S. in astronautical engineering from the U. S. Air Force Academy, an M.S. in astronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and an M.A. in airpower art and science from the Air University’s School of Advanced Airpower Studies.
